Terms of Sale

Cold Hut Recovery Ltd · VAT Registration 482000627

Last updated: 7 August 2026

These terms apply to everything you buy from coldhutrecovery.com. Please read them before you order. By placing an order you agree to them.

Nothing here affects your statutory rights. If any part of these terms conflicts with the law, the law wins.

1. Who we are

Cold Hut Recovery Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. VAT Registration 482000627. Contact: support@coldhutrecovery.com

2. How an order is made

  1. You place an order through our website. This is an offer to buy, not a contract.
  2. We send an acknowledgement. This confirms we have your order, not that we have accepted it.
  3. A contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation.

We may decline an order if the item is unavailable, we cannot deliver to your area, we cannot install safely at your site, or there is an error in the price or description.

3. Prices and payment

  • Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT at the prevailing rate.
  • Delivery and installation charges are shown separately at checkout where they apply.
  • Full payment is taken at the point of order. We cannot begin fulfilment until payment clears.
  • Finance is available through Klarna and is a separate agreement between you and them.

If we spot an obvious pricing error before dispatch we will contact you, and you can either confirm at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

4. Delivery

  • We deliver to most of mainland UK. We do not deliver to Northern Ireland.
  • Surcharges apply to the Scottish highlands, islands and other remote areas. We confirm these in writing before you commit.
  • Delivery is kerbside unless installation is purchased. You are responsible for moving the unit from the delivery vehicle to its final position.
  • Our units are heavy and arrive on a pallet. You must confirm suitable access before we dispatch.
  • Estimated dispatch is up to 7 days for delivery only. Where installation is purchased, the date is arranged around your availability and our installation calendar, typically 1 to 4 weeks.

Delivery dates are estimates. Where a delay is our fault and is significant, you may cancel and receive a full refund.

Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Ownership passes once we have received payment in full.

5. Site preparation

Before delivery we carry out a site check with you and confirm in writing what is required. This normally includes a level, load-bearing base and a dedicated electrical supply installed by a qualified electrician.

Preparing the site is your responsibility. We are happy to advise, but we do not carry out groundwork or electrical supply work.

If our team attends and cannot complete the work because the site is not ready as agreed, a re-visit charge applies. We will tell you the amount before booking the return visit.

6. Installation

Where you buy installation:

  • We supply the service with reasonable care and skill.
  • We install the unit only. We do not connect it to your electrical supply unless expressly agreed, and any such connection is carried out by a qualified electrician.
  • You must ensure safe access and that the site is clear on the day.
  • If you ask us to start installation within the 14 day cancellation period, you must confirm this in writing. See our Returns policy for what happens if you then cancel.

7. Safe use

Saunas and cold water immersion carry health risks. You are responsible for using the equipment in line with the manufacturer's instructions supplied with it.

Speak to your doctor before use if you are pregnant, or have a heart condition, high or low blood pressure, circulatory problems, epilepsy, or any other condition that may be affected by heat or cold.

Do not use after alcohol. Do not allow unsupervised use by children. Do not use alone if you are unwell.

We are not responsible for injury or loss arising from use contrary to the manufacturer's instructions, from modification of the unit, or from installation or electrical work carried out by anyone other than us or a qualified professional.

8. Warranty

Products are covered by the manufacturer's warranty supplied with your unit. Warranty claims are handled through us. Contact support@coldhutrecovery.com with your order number and photographs.

The warranty does not cover fair wear and tear, weathering of timber, damage from misuse or neglect, damage from failure to carry out the maintenance set out in your manual, or damage caused by unauthorised modification.

This is in addition to your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

9. Returns and cancellation

Covered in full in our Returns, Cancellations and Refunds policy, which forms part of these terms.

10. Our liability

We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Subject to that, our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the price you paid for it.

We are not liable for business losses. Where you buy for business purposes, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of anticipated savings or business interruption.

11. Business customers

Where you buy for purposes connected with a business, the consumer cancellation right does not apply and our separate trade terms apply. Ask us for a copy before ordering.

12. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including supplier failure, extreme weather, transport disruption and industrial action. We will let you know and agree a revised date, or you may cancel and receive a refund for anything not yet delivered.

13. Complaints

Email support@coldhutrecovery.com with your order number. We acknowledge within 2 working days and aim to resolve within 14 days.

14. General

  • We may transfer our rights under these terms to another business. Your rights are unaffected.
  • If we do not enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later.
  • Each clause stands alone. If a court finds one unlawful, the rest remain in force.
  • These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Wales you may also bring proceedings in your own country.
